A good home fragrance should change the feeling of a room without becoming the room. It should feel present, balanced, and easy to live with.
Haus Naturals develops fragrance around the atmosphere of the home: softer evenings, freshly reset spaces, warm living rooms, quiet bedrooms, and the small routines that shape everyday life.
The aim is simple: refined fragrance with enough presence to perform, and enough restraint to belong naturally in the home.
How We Compose
We do not treat “natural” and “synthetic” as opposites. Essential oils and botanical extracts can bring character and familiarity, while carefully selected fragrance materials can support stability, diffusion, balance, and consistency.
What matters is the finished experience: a fragrance that feels considered, performs properly in its intended format, and is appropriate for everyday home use.
Fragrance should feel refined, perform well, and sit comfortably within the rhythm of the home.
Atmosphere
Scent is most useful when it has a purpose. Think first about the room, the time of day, and the atmosphere you want to create.

Our first home-fragrance direction is built around Lavender French Juniper: a soft, green, woody interpretation of lavender designed for a quieter atmosphere.

The delivery system changes how quickly scent appears, how continuously it is present, and how it moves through the room.
Best for atmosphere, warmth, and intentional use. The fragrance develops as the wax pool forms and the candle reaches its intended burn state.

Best for a continuous background presence. Diffusion is slower and more consistent, making it well suited to spaces you want gently fragranced throughout the day.

Performance
Natural-leaning does not mean accepting weak fragrance. Performance is part of the brief.
We evaluate each format for the way it actually delivers scent: cold and hot throw for candles, diffusion and longevity for reeds, and immediate presence for mists.
Layering
The simplest form of layering is continuity: the same fragrance expressed through different formats and used at different moments.
Use a mist for an immediate room or linen reset.
Use a reed diffuser for a quieter, continuous background presence.
Use a candle when you want warmth, light, and fragrance together.
Stay within one fragrance direction rather than filling the room with competing scents.
The Haus Naturals Approach
Home fragrance is part of the same Haus Naturals idea as home care: products should work properly, feel refined, and support the atmosphere of the home.
We favour natural-leaning profiles and thoughtful ingredient selection, but we do not use “natural” as a shortcut for quality. Performance, stability, balance, and suitability for the intended use all matter.
The result should feel simple when you use it, even when the work behind it is not.

Haus Naturals fragrance development is intended to follow applicable IFRA standards for each product format and use level, alongside our own requirements for performance and overall product experience.
Each format uses a different base and delivery system. Heat changes how a candle releases fragrance, reeds diffuse gradually over time, and a mist creates a more immediate impression. The fragrance identity can remain the same while the expression changes.
Noticeable enough to shape the room, refined enough not to dominate it. We do not position weak performance as a benefit of natural-leaning fragrance.
